Ramayana Tale of Lord Rama
I am here presenting an astonishing thought and an alternative history about Lord Rama and its story of Life. This is not regular read of Ramayana but something very different which might interest you.
Background of Ramayana
We all know that Vedic India was divided into many small nations like Aryavarta (common name of India from Himalaya to Vindhya), Jambudeepa, Sidhudesa(Persia to boundaries of Gujarat/Punjab), Meluha- Empire of Suryavanshi ( Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat), sawdeepa- Empire of Chandra Vansi ( Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya), dhandkya-vana (Maharashtra and parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh), Mesolithic tribes. These many kingdoms names have been changed from time to time and All Meluha, Sawdeepa and dhandkya-vana come under a common name – Aryavarta or King of Aryavarta known as Chakravarti.
Valmiki Not Rishi but a school of Vedic dharma or clan
The most mythical misconception which we have about writers of such great epics that they might be the single person who wrote the whole Ramayana. I disagree. with that fact because if you look into Ramayana itself that Valmiki was visited Rama during his birth, his exile, his return, he actually helps Sita in exile, he also helps to guide Luv and Kusha in their kingdom rule. Moreover, Modern India has the community which called themselves ancestors of Valmiki with their surname having the title.
Ikshvaku- The clan of Suryavanshi
Ikshvaku and later Sakya is the well known royal clan in Ayodhya and has many powerful kingdoms during the time of Vedic period. After migration from a bank of Saraswati, the early civilisation has merged with people of Gangas, Swadeepa- Chandravanshi. It is been speculate that Survanshi and Chandravanshi infused each other for creating the beautiful Vedas and Upanishads. The Kingdom of Ikshvaku can be tracked back from early Vedic period to Buddha clan of Shakya.
Schools of Dharma
There were basic Six schools of Dharmas which have set up as Gurukul in Vedic periods. Students were taught to these schools and the brilliant student sent to Universities like Takshilla and Later Nalanda. The Famous school was a) Nyaya (Justice) b) Samkhya (Vedic Brahman theology) c) Yoga (Union with nature) d) Vedanta (Upanishads and conclusion philosophy of Vedas e) Mimasa (debate and studies to others) f) Vaisheshika (metaphysics, epistemology, logic, ethics, and soteriology).
Lord Rama as King
The clan of Ikshvaku or Shakya was the famous clan of Aryavrta due to trade route through Ganga and have military powers due to control over the fertile land of Sindh and Ganges. This clan has powerful control over crops and cattle especially cows and elephants. These clan control over diff states/village and landmass with different treaties through marriage and taxes. The very festival of Biashaki, Makar Sankranti or Onam is symbolism of taxing to state in the average of protection from invaders. The time of Lord Rama, all Vedic schools were thriving and creating some social fabric named as “Dharma”. “Dharma” is very way of life living under nature, with nature and for nature by considering every animal and the even planet as the sentient being. This whole idea helps to eradicate the much terrible practice of north and create a kingdom which can be run like a constitution “DharmaSastra”. I believe that early clan of Manu create many Dharma Sastra and many of them been changed the time to time. Lord Rama favoured the control of Dharma school over mass population and he implied the same rule all over his small kingdom named “Ayodhya”.
Rama married to Sita
The very Sage of Vishwamitra (Friend of World) and Vashistha (Special Intellect) had planned this journey of Rama and Lakshmana with Vishwamitra to have a look into near by state and their affairs so they can plan winning strategies for including them their thrived Dharma ideology. The war with Tarka might be a terrible encounter of Lord Rama and Dhadkya vana tribes. When they moved to the Fertile land of Madhava (today Bihar) and reach to Nepal. They found a very small and strong kingdom which has potential to influence another kingdom near by. Rama married to Sita because as per Dharmasastra women can marry to men which she chose. The very idea of a single wife was the idea of Mithila which later infused in Ramayana as one of the Dharmic rules.
Rama exile is more a journey to understand Bharat beyond dandiya vana and transfer the knowledge of Vedic dharma into tribes of vana. Rama started this journey with many sages and his wife and brother Laxmana. This exile will become more mimic in nature with other tribe and their submission to Lord Rama can be seen as their submission to Dharma. Rama had encounter tribes name “Vanra” very powerful and live far south of Dandkya where the kingdom of Chola and Chera started. Lord Rama infused the idea of common practice and morals through dharma into these tribes and ask them to help his journey to complete into far south.
Rama encounters with many sages
Ramayana explains the great details of many sages like Ahilaya, Vaishtha, Sabri, Nishada (tribe king). Rama was a learned Vedic Dharma man and has great respect for Dharmic way of life. In all his journey he meets with the people who were spreading Dharma in various part of Bharat and regularly torture by their attack on their Ashrama. These attack shall be prevented by someone who must be the fighter. Rama exile and their encounters might be the tale of eradication of terrible attack and helping sages to influence dharma. Dharmic religion thrived with this help of Isksvaku which later help them to have control as Chakravarti.
Sita abduction and Ram Ravan fight
I can speculate that Sita was captured by one the powerful Mesolithic tribes. Sita abduction has been confronted by allies of Lord Rama and won the war against Mesolithic tribes.
Ram Setu most of the time consider as divine bridge create by Nala and Neela. I assume that these were tribes of great architect capability from stone age which help to fill the shallow water track for Lord Rama armies to get into Lanka.
Rama returns to Ayodhya after the ambitious mission, hailed by people of Ayodhya and later the whole life he follows Dharma as the way of life.
#Rama hailed as “Most perfect men in Dharmic way possible”, Indeed he is. He was the founding father of Sanatana Dharma in the land of Bharata. He was the real avatar of Dharma Lord itself. Ramayana is more political and Dharmic spread stories amongst Bharat if look deeper into the Ramayana.
